Wie zijn wij?
War Child Netherlands is one of the fundraising members of the War Child Alliance. War Child Netherlands is responsible for fundraising in the NL market, as well as programme implementation in the Netherlands.
War Child has developed a set of evidence-based interventions called the Care System. The ultimate goal is to support the mental wellbeing of children. Given the current gaps and needs of refugee children and youth in the Netherlands, War Child has decided to also start implementing a set of tools and interventions in the Netherlands. War Child is specifically looking for a pool of facilitators for EASE and Be There. The facilitators will support the scale up of the EASE and Be There interventions in the Netherlands.

- EASE (Early Adolescent Skills for Emotions): War Child has, led by WHO, developed, piloted and researched EASE, with the aim to train communities and partner organisations to implement quality and timely mental support to youth.
- BeThere: War Child has developed a group intervention for parents and caregivers of children exposed to armed conflict, displacement, and other forms of adversity. The program is designed to help parents and other caregivers reduce their own stress and find greater support, so that they feel better emotionally, and have more energy to be the kind of parents they wish to be. The intervention aims to increase knowledge and skills related to parenting, in order to lower the stress of raising children in difficult conditions.
